I am an absolute sucker for oldschool rare JDM car parts. I am also an RB20 lover so naturally I have accumulated an extensive collection of rare RB20 specific parts and a big list of parts I still want. This page documents my collection along with some other extremely rare RB20 specific parts. There are lots of rare parts that work for RB20s, but the focus of this page is unique parts produced specifically for RB20s. I have spent 7+ years hunting for some of these parts and have loved every second of it. Enjoy!

Produced by Nissan in the late 80s, this Gold Rocker Cover is the only example I have ever seen a picture of or heard of. If it did not have the Nissan Box and part number I would have never believed this part existed. It is most likely a limited run / promotional item sold at dealers. It is meant to fit with R31 / 200zr Red Top cam covers.

This Rocker Cover was only available on the R32 Skyline M20. It is a single piece of cast aluminum and is the only Tommy Kaira full custom coil pack cover. The Rocker Cover is meant to fit Silver Top valve covers. An estimated less than 100 M20s and M30s were produced by Tommy Kaira and the M30 seems to have sold more examples. It is known exactly how many where made, but the number could easily be less than 50.

The Red Top "Finned" valve covers came on all of the Red Top RB20 engines produced. While this is not an incredibly rare part, these valve covers are highly desirable and command a premium price.

Calsonic produced Oil Caps for RB26, SR20, RB20 etc. These are very cool items as they made an RB20 specific one. They are not super rare, but most are in poor condition as the lettering is prone to scratching off.

Tomei produced a set of 2.2L pistons and 2.4L stroker pistons. They have been long discontinued, since ~2004, and are extremely rare. The 2.2L pistons use the factory RB20 crank and rods plus the 82 mm Tomei pistons to boost displacement to 2.2L. The 2.4L pistons use a factory RB26 crankshaft and RB26 rods along with the 82 mm Tomei pistons to boost displacement to 2.4L. Both set ups need extensive machine work and clearance plus a Tomei RB20 83.5 mm head gasket.
2.2L Bore - 82 mm
2.2L Stroke - 69.7 mm
2.4L Bore - 82 mm
2.4L Stroke - 73.7 mm

This a unique manifold used only on the R31 GTS-R. It has a T3 turbo flange and is meant to make big power in the late 80s. It is a work of art, especially with the heatshield, and is considered one of the ultimate factory RB20 parts. These are incredibly desirable, so much so several aftermarket companies make a manifold based on its design. R31 House "GTS-R" manifolds are also considered highly desirable because of there rich history and superb quality.
The R31 GTS-R race cars used a version of the manifold made from more durable materials and reinforcement.

This a unique manifold used only on the R31 GTS Autech. It has a T25 turbo flange and spools turbo chargers very quickly with its short runners. It definitely isn't the prettiest thing, but that's how it came from Autech. I run one of these on my personal car and it sounds amazing!

This cast exhaust manifold was produced by HKS. Made for a T3 or T4 flanged turbo charger. I think most people would use this part on an RB25 as the RB20 may struggle to spool a large turbo.
